Our Process

Step 1: Assessment

Every session begins with a thorough intake. We look at your history, pain levels, movement patterns, activity, and anything else relevant to what you're dealing with. This shapes everything that follows.

Step 2: Sotai Session

All movement is gentle and painless, and tailored to how your body actually responds in the room. No manipulation, no forced stretching, no cracking.

Step 3: What You Take Home

You'll leave with specific movement assignments — exercises or patterns chosen for your body based on what we found in the session. Simple enough to actually do. Designed to reinforce the changes made in the room.

How it works

1: Start With a Trial Session ($125)

Bodywork is personal. Pain, injury, and physical limitations affect more than your body — they affect your daily life, and trusting someone with that takes time. The trial session gives you space to experience the work with no pressure and no commitment.

In this session, we focus on:

  • Understanding what you're dealing with

  • Listening to your concerns and goals

  • Answering your questions honestly

  • Making sure you leave knowing whether this is right for you

One-time trial. No obligation to continue.

2: Decide if Recover & Restore is Right for You

After the trial, you decide how to move forward. If the work fits and you want to continue, you enroll in the full program. If not, there's no pressure either way.

If you enroll within 30 days of your trial, your $125 trial fee is credited toward the program — making your remaining balance $1,075.

3: The Recover & Restore Program

The full program is $1,200 for 8 sessions ($150 each).

We don't do quick fixes. Relief after a single session is possible — but the goal is deeper than temporary improvement. This program is built to address the underlying patterns so the problem doesn't keep returning and interfering with your life.

Each session builds on the last, combining Sotai bodywork with movement guidance for long-term recovery and physical freedom. This is a structured process for people who want real, lasting change.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this program for?

Recover & Restore is for people dealing with ongoing physical discomfort, movement limitations, or recurring issues that haven't fully resolved through conventional routes. Many of our clients have tried physical therapy, massage, chiropractic care, acupuncture, or even surgery and are still searching for something that actually helps them move and feel better.

If your body doesn't feel the way it should — and you're ready for a more individualized, hands-on approach — this program may be a good fit.

What kinds of issues do you work with?

We work with a wide range of movement-related issues, including chronic tension, joint discomfort, restricted mobility, postural imbalances, and recurring pain patterns. Sessions are not diagnosis-based or symptom-chasing; instead, we focus on improving how your body organizes movement so it can function more efficiently and comfortably. See the full list of conditions below.

Do I get anything to work on between sessions?

Yes. You'll receive movement assignments designed specifically for your body — simple exercises, stretches, or patterns that reinforce the changes made in session. Designed to be doable, not to take over your life.

What is Sotai, and how is it different?

Sotai is a Japanese bodywork method that works with your nervous system and natural movement patterns rather than forcing correction. Instead of pushing through restriction, we use comfortable, intentional movements to help your body reorganize itself.

The goal is to restore balance, coordination, and ease — often where other approaches stall.

How do I know if this is right for me?

If you're looking for individualized care, thoughtful problem-solving, and a practitioner who works with your body rather than against it, this program is worth exploring. The best way to find out is to experience a session and see how your body responds.

What if I'm not seeing progress?

Halfway through the program, we check in directly. If progress isn't where it should be, we discuss it openly — whether that means adjusting the approach, extending the program, or recognizing this isn't the right fit. You won't be left wondering. If something isn't working, tell me immediately. The work depends on honest feedback in both directions.

Is this medical treatment or physical therapy?

No. Recover & Restore does not diagnose or treat medical conditions and is not a replacement for licensed medical care. It is a movement-based bodywork and coaching program designed to improve physical function, comfort, and awareness.

If you have a significant medical condition or injury, please consult your physician for guidance. If your condition is something we cannot work with, we'll let you know immediately.

How many sessions do I need?

Recover & Restore is built as a minimum of 8 sessions. That gives us enough time to address underlying patterns, adjust the approach as your body responds, and measure real change rather than chasing temporary relief.

How is this different from maintenance or wellness sessions?

Recover & Restore is focused and goal-oriented. It's structured for people who need deeper attention, problem-solving, and follow-through to address a specific issue. Maintenance is for people who already feel good and want to stay that way.
